Now ECC is expanding its offer in the power space with greater emphasis on Renewables. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Grimstone as a Senior Associate to lead our work in this area.
Neil has a successful track record in project development and asset management across Europe since 1989, focused on independent power and renewable energy with extensive experience of the
UK and Italian markets. He has covered numerous activities, especially energy from waste, but also wind, solar, hydro and biomass sourced generation. In the 1990’s he was a key member of the Edison Mission Europe team which developed and financed major power projects in the UK, Turkey, Italy and Spain, initially as Finance Director and later as Managing Director, Southern Europe. In 1999 he joined Covanta Energy as Senior VP Europe before becoming an independent consultant in
2002, since when he has advised a wide range of international clients, in particular Encyclis (formerly known as Covanta Energy), First Solar, Falck Renewables (now Nadara), Viridis Energy Capital, Barr Environmental, Enel, Compact Power, OCO Technology and Planet Farms. He also speaks fluent
Italian.
